Drivers of diversity and future scenarions from ethno-ecology, contemporary ecology and ancient DNA at Umea University

We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher in ecology that will work with the importance of climate and herbivory for vegetation composition in the Arctic in time and space. More specifically, we will analyze the relationships between plant traits and how the plants respond to herbivory and warming. The project is a part of the international Biodiversa project called “Future ArcTic Ecosystems (FATE)”. The deadline for application is January 10, 2020, and the position is expected to start February 1, 2020 or according to agreement.

Postdoctoral position (2 years) in ecology and anthropology at Université Paris-Sud

We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow in interdisciplinary environmental sciences, including ecology, anthropology and other related disciplines, who will work on Sami knowledge about environmental change and the co-production of scenarios. The position is part of the BiodivScen (BiodivERsA – Belmont Forum joint call) project “Future ArcTic Ecosystems (FATE): drivers of diversity and future scenarios from ethno-ecology, contemporary ecology and ancient DNA”. The deadline for application is January 31, 2020 and the position is expected to start in early 2020.
